taking care of your contact lenses on vacation

How to take care of your colored contact lenses on vacation?

You're leaving this summer and already have a lot to think about and prepare for your departure. What are the important things to remember for your colored lenses? Our optician Sarah Marlien will help you take stock before your big departure.

First of all, are you flying? If this is the case, you should know that there are travel kits for colored lenses to ensure the required capacity in your carry-on baggage.

If you normally wear monthly colored lenses, we recommend taking daily colored lenses with you this time. This way, you won't need to clean your colored lenses every night. You'll only need a small amount of care product for your colored lenses. This product will simply be used to clean your colored lenses before inserting them.

Can I swim with my contact lenses?

If you like to swim with your Contact Lenses or Colored Lenses, make sure they are suitable for swimming (very few colored lenses offer this option). Remember to throw them away after swimming to avoid any risk of infection (in these cases, it's useful to have daily colored lenses, which are less expensive to throw away than other colored lenses).

Take advantage of your vacation to try out new colored lenses

What if you took advantage of your vacation to try out different colored contact lenses? You'll be able to discover a whole new look while you're on vacation. Just like the Soleko One Day Colored Contact Lenses, the Obsession Paris One Day Colored Contact Lenses are sold in boxes of 10. In one box, you can enjoy 5 pairs of Colored Contact Lenses. By choosing different models, you have plenty of time to try different colors and change or alternate them according to your mood, your evenings, and your makeup.

Rest your eyes with prescription glasses

Don't forget to bring your prescription glasses with you to rest your eyes. Your glasses can also be useful in case of conjunctivitis or other minor problems during your stay.

Protect your eyes from the sun even if you wear your Colored Contact Lenses (most models have a UV filter). You can also play the star with your sunglasses.

Have a great holiday, and take care of your eyes and your Colored Contact Lenses.
