Hi Sarah, could you introduce yourself to our customers ?

Hello, my name is Sarah Marlien, I'm a professional optician. I am 34-years-old and I have been passionate about optics for more than 15 years. I started my career as an apprentice in an optical store. It was in this family home that I discovered my passion for the profession of optician. I then continued my work-study studies in BTS Optician in order to specialize in optometry, contactology, pathologies and eye health. As you can see, I have a great thirst for learning in the field of optics and contactology.

What do you like in your job ? 

I like to advise customers, find the color lenses that corresponds to their needs (Desio color lenses, Solotica color lenses, color lenses with contouring, color lenses without contouring, color lenses with prescription...), exchange with them and share… The profession of optician appeals to me for its versatility: cutting glasses, allowing a person to wear the most comfortable lenses, do an eye exam to optimize your prescription... Every day is different!

Where did you work before to arrive at www.mycolorlenses.com ? 

During my career, I was able to practice in Paris (France) on the famous Champs Elysée where I discovered that despite an international clientele, we all have the same concerns in terms of optics! I loved meeting glasses designers, discovering new collections that allow customers to feel good about their glasses… Contactology is a constantly evolving field thanks to new technologies. It's a pleasure to be able to find a whole range of colors and materials to suit everyone. It is a real favorite to be able to change the color of your eyes as well for a natural look as for fun by trying much more original lenses…
